Ae86 have a soft chassis. It is holding by 35+ years old seam sealer and factory spot welds. Over time due to hard driving conditions and aging, the seam sealer will crack causing less responsive from chassis. In this 2002 HOT VERSION video they had to restore and stiffen up the chassis for Tsuchiya's car.
